Have encountered the same issues during my trial, while able to bypass it after overriding iota.localAttachToTangle, similar to https://github.com/iotaledger/wallet/blob/master/ui/js/iota.lightwallet.js Also, in this sample, the weight is only using 9 (https://github.com/domschiener/leaderboard-example/blob/master/js/send.js#L106)....
