I narrowed the issue down to the size of my dataset and experimented with different dataset sizes till the issue disappeared.

ValueError: Target size (torch.Size([4, 2])) must be the same as input size (torch.Size([8, 2])

Did you manage to resolve this issue? I have a similar problem.
