A better solution for controller handling is planned for the next release. So far it seems most wrappers are about as likely to cause issues as they are to solve...
Haven't messed with themes in a hot minute, but IIRC that's what the "new" task manager does when themes are disabled. You can use the Win7 version of taskmgr.exe.
That's strange. If I had to guess, you probably need to manually install the latest Visual C++ runtime
I'll need a little more information. Can you paste the contents of the status window in the config app (`R2FixCfg.exe`)?
