Markers don't display in Chrome and only display on the dynamic video in Firefox (Edge is okay)

Actually I can get the bar to appear in chrome at least in the Dynamic version if I set .vjs-control-bar to display:block

Did anyone ever discover a fix for this? Or at least a temporary solution so I can fix some broken doc types we have? We're on the latest Umbraco 9.3.1...
