XIV launcher crashes when the title card comes up . (STEAMOS)

Hello ive been trying to start FFXIV from the launcher but most of the time the launcher crashes, any solution/fixes? It both occurs in desktop and game-mode.

### What is the issue? I cannot trade with villagers as it will not open the menu and they honk at me in disapproval. ### To Reproduce 1.walk to villagers...
