I got the same error when I edited the custom.bootstrap.json file. it at least throws with component-animations: true. I'll keep adding as I find other values that are breaking it....
Looked at your code a bit more and I think it will also happen for the options of navbar, modals, carousel, collapse, and transition. I don't fully understand the rest...
