It always sends you to the same spot, though. I wonder if thex got x and y mixed up?
Probably. If you look in the files there has not been sny changes.
This happened to me. The exit was underground and i made a mine out of it.

Delete players and it will automatically re install it. All inventory and (not world spawn) spawn will be reset. Put all of everyone's stuff into chest unless they cannot join.
