@dtothefp those config values should fix this issue. Mobile simulators need higher timeout values for them to work reliably.

I had the same issue as @nikevp with the `@ui-kitten/eva-icons` package. Tried the `metro` bundler for expo web as suggested above, but the cursed config didn't play well with `@aws-amplify/ui-react-native`....

Changes suggested by @balazsorban44 seem sufficient to support checking of user-supplied `state`. @jasonkuhrt users can somewhat do request-based state creation and read, but I suppose it comes at a performance...
