Having the same issue with Fedora on Gnome 41. So, I don't think this issue is specific to Pop OS.

Updating my gtk theme and disabling dash blur in blur-my-shell fixed the issue for me. Regardless, apparent incompatibility between D2D & BMS should be addressed.
Also occurs when using the music metadata editor *without* attempting to change the album cover. Might have something to do with failed permissions to write to the respective files? **Crash...
Also happens with the settings pane.
Agreed. Downloading is an essential feature for many, especially those who listen on their commutes, since many subways, highways, etc. do not have stable cell connection.
Also experiencing this on Fedora Linux, Zotero 6.0.20.
@tubingtime you can temporarily disable Composefs to update your grub config, and then re-enable it once you've tested the config. For details, [see my comment here](https://github.com/ublue-os/bluefin/discussions/3414#discussioncomment-14722867).
