FYI, the tests take about 10 minutes to run on a virtual machine. Hopefully it's not too much slower on hosted CI, otherwise it'll hit time limits.

This is likely due to a 0.16 incompatibility. I'm going to skip 0.16 and go straight for 0.17, and will close this issue once that's merged into master.
