CSS variables not supported in legacy browsers

I'm experimenting with my own stylesheet that would work for those browsers (my personal need) but I'm not sure how I could integrate this in the main repo.

Any change this could compile to Android API 18 with minimal to no changes?

@Zinggi thanks for getting back. I'm trying my luck with Android Studio... How does web version keep the session? I worry that it could lose the pairing status
