When vscode is set to `{"editor.renderWhitespace": "selection"}`, whitespace dots cannot be recognized in the selected area.  This problem can be improved by configuring vscode to {"workbench.colorCustomizations": `{"editorWhitespace.foreground": "# 485359"}}`....
