I have the same problem with Windows 10 and Nextcloud 2.2.3.4 Win Client.  If i stop the NC Client all icons are ok. 

Same issue here. Klipper is running on a machine with Ubuntu. The installscript set the path for the log file to KLIPPER_LOG=/var/log/klippy.log.

I prepare an commit:  I hope this meets expectations as to how it should be implemented
