As a workaround I came up with https://github.com/schneidexe/tfp. Yet, it's a kinda low-tech solution that might not cover all cases ... ;) But maybe it's helpful...

Thanks @MatthewWaanders for the fork and fix. Until the fix get merged I just uninstalled original govee (https://github.com/LaggAt/hacs-govee) while ignoring the "Integration is configured" warning and installed your govee (https://github.com/MatthewWaanders/hacs-govee)...
