Literally after 30 minutes of various distractions, after finishing gathering info and typing that, the add-on has loaded though I lost many windows. Maybe this is a firefox issue? Closing....
Actually this is still a problem. I don't know how/why it "fixed itself" (and ran unsigned anyway) after I posted that. Re-opening....
Argh theres a bug in the bug reporting: When closing an issue and then re-opening, I have no way to re-add the "needs-triage" label!
