the issue seems to be irrespective of the client we run the test from. we used windows and mac clients. Is the issue resolved in the latest version of tailscale?

we followed the instructions provided below for linux as is. so looks like we aren't using the above option https://tailscale.com/kb/1103/exit-nodes/?tab=linux

[Feature Suggestion] Support for watching secretproviderclasspodstatuses in addition to secrets and configmaps (CSI driver)

+1 for this. We use AWS secrets manager to store + CSI driver to load secrets. This would be really useful feature.
