I'm running into the same issue on fedora 36 gnome. In my case the reported battery level on startup is 2% and `cat /sys/bus/hid/drivers/razermouse/0*/charge_level` gives me the correct battery level.

I cannot reproduce this under sway with a 5700xt. no stutter or vulkan related error messages.
