This was fixed in #461, so I recommend that it should now be closed.
This may be solved, at least in part, if markets/jekyll-timeago#39 is solved.
Just to let you know it's best to leave issues open until the solution pull request has been merged, just as technically the issue hasn't been solved until the solution...

What's the purpose of this change? It currently looks like it would just break the json file. I propose that this is closed without merging
