Sorry but this does not anser the question. Was there an official message from castro maintainers? I would prefer and contribute porting castro to py3 as xvfbwrapper does not provide...

I just forked the project and try to contribute some code.
the thing i'm not sure about is that requests is not a python standard lib. this will blow up the plugin and i'm not quite sure how to ship 3rd...

+1 for merge. we're building Python `buildouts` with gitlab_ci_runner. we also ran into this.
@andreif can you please rebase this on master and @acdha can you give an update what's missing here so i could possibly help to get this merged?
