About this I totally agree with @pokrakam . The blocks are encapsulated and easy to read without the necessity of comments. The code says it all when the method names...
Personally I prefer to use Predicate Functions. I think that it is more readable.
I totally agree with @larshp. TYPE/DATA/CONSTANTS shouln't be randomly placed in the definition of a class.
