I agree with this. I think the original intent was to prevent channel floods of random CTCP stuff, but ACTION is part of everyday conversation.

It's more sophisticated than that. NO_NICK_CHANGE blocks ALL nick changes; NO_CTCP blocks ALL CTCP. This feature only blocks those things if there's an active flood and then automatically removes the...
