Is this compitable with Cassandra 3.3 installed on CentOS7 ?

I can use apache/cassandra2.1 in the bootstrapping and it compiles, but using apache/cassandra3.0 results in "Javac: invalid target 1.8." Which is weird, since java 8 is the only version installed...
