Fermata Auto stfp does not follow symlinks

I have estabilished connection to my nas via vpn and sftp, but folders are empty, because they are symlinks to disks.

Is it possible to modify this for Android Auto? I have a phone connected to AA in my car as hotspot and tablet in the back seat for the kid....
