Thank you both for the feedback! I haven't forgotten about this PR - I'll find the time to work on this soon (_hopefully within the next couple weeks_).

compdb will pull in headers that are behind `ifdef`s

I wrote a separate tool to do what I described above: run each command to the preprocessor stage by modifying the compilation commands to add `-E` and remove `-o`: https://github.com/roddux/header_fixer

Property-driven grammar building

This looks like a feature I would use heavily, and seems more intuitive than CodeQL. Happy to demo this if it ever lands
