I was having the same problem. I resolved it removing the VSCode User version and I installing the VSCode System version: https://update.code.visualstudio.com/1.77.3/win32-x64/stable -> working https://update.code.visualstudio.com/1.77.3/win32-x64-user/stable -> with problem https://code.visualstudio.com/updates/v1_77
