Apps are allowed to add non-standard command line switches,  but is there a reason not to follow the normal --configure process?  It's normally only done once.

Are any disks full? try deleting any folders that begin with C:\Users\Dan\AppData\Local\Temp\par and run xmltv.exe (note: it's normal for the first run to take a long time!)

@meluvalli are you not finding a par folder? (there should be one in the error message). What version of windows? What's the some of the error messages?
