I seem to be experiencing this same issue on a specific piece of hardware / uart. Write reports 5 bytes, and only wrote 2 bytes. Obviously this is very frustrating...

I have a AGX Orin and could definitely help here just don't know where to start. Could you give some basic guidance on typical process to add a hardware variant?
