There's a known issue around running async work on the main task (inside tokio::main): All IO will be run on the threadpool while the rest is going to be executed...
Even the documentation states that this would transfer ownership of the underlying fd. https://docs.rs/async-std/1.6.0/async_std/os/unix/io/trait.IntoRawFd.html. Any updates?
Is anyone having this issue still? how can we make progress here?
