From the guidance of chatgpt I was able to fix this issue by adding below snippet to `.cargo/config.toml` ```toml [target.x86_64-unknown-freebsd] rustflags = [ "-C", "link-arg=-Wl,-z,nostart-stop-gc" ] ```
