found that if I do the xcode clean and then manually do rm -rf ~/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData//MyProj-fjvceqomcasnkzeblpywldrpbwcn/Build/Intermediates/TestFramework.build/Debug-iphonesimulator this will also get the build working again. So it appears that the above directory...

Thanks! I tried a similar solution by adding a new target that handles a "clean" action (unfortunately XCode doesn't let you add a custom script for cleaning). It mostly worked...
