Just curious, the comment on X server is related to ggplot2? ignoring ggplot2 for the moment, do you think running R code on your tool is realistic?
Pelias uses libpostal and it doesn't work right all the time. They are currently investigating how to bypass it in some cases. https://github.com/pelias/pelias/issues/766
