I may have the same problem, altough my hang appears when I delete many snapshots (>10000). Is this the same problem? RAIDZ1 on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with HWE kernel (5.0.0-31-generic)....
When i make a commit after a filechange or when i create an issue i have to reload before i can see it. It takes only .25 seconds to reload...

In our case the `CREATE INDEX` from above reduced the query time from 200ms-600ms to 0.1ms-2ms. We need this fixed aswell.
