After the install completes, do you see the final set of instructions on how to start VSCode? If not, run through each of the steps listed in the chromebook.sh file...

Devices that should work?

I found on my Acer Chromebook (C83-431) that reports an architecture of x86_64, I had to install chroot WITHOUT the -a armhf flag (around line 65 of the chromebook.sh script)....
