Hi, From what I'm understanding by reading this, I'm assuming one can convert E from simulation units to V/m by simply dividing the simulation units by √ε0 and H_sim to...
@aizvorski thanks so much! My initial doubt was also in the metre^0.5 issue. But ill just bite the bullet and go ahead and multiply my poynting vectors by 3e8 m/s....
ok i'm not too sure, but here goes: from [1] and [3], We can see that $`\begin{bmatrix} E_\theta \\\ E_\phi \end{bmatrix} = \sum_{rays} \begin{bmatrix} B_\theta \\\ B_\phi \end{bmatrix} \frac{jk}{2\pi} (\delta...
Hi, From what i remember, the only material supported is PEC. If you want to use other materials, the nature the code is written prohibits this. A different formulation is...
Try with 'audir8.unv'.
Yes, if the surface is PEC, you can use it as it is. The permittivity, imo is irrelevant, as the only induced currents in a PEC are on the surface.
Not much that I know of, I've been using Ansys HFSS and FEKO for my simulations
