I can't get this to work properly :(. With BarTab's standard settings, if I click on a tab that hasn't been loaded yet, it doesn't load. Am I missing something?
What other add-ons are you using? Have you tried disabling them one by one to see if the problem goes away?

How do you select more than one tab?

That's an excellent idea. Will consider!
A quick fix would be to trigger the tab load when you start dragging. That way you at least won't lose any state. A better fix would probably involve patching...
