Perhaps a pixel distance, or a filter if the nearest free InputPoint is more than 5x away than the closes regular InputPoint...then don't offer to extend the line to it....

Ctrl + Rightclik or Rightclick on Input Segment

Ctrl + Rightmouse on an InputPoint will delete a point, and not re-connect it's neighbors. Alternatively, right clicking on an InputSegment, will delete the segment and keep the adjacent InputPoints

 Currently it only looks for hovered points. WIll need to "break into" an existing InputSegment.

 currently it will only allow you to place one point when not hovering direclty over an existing point
