Cannot run on iOS: Command xcrun with arguments simctl install...An error was encountered processing the command (domain=IXUserPresentableErrorDomain, code=1)

I solved this issue by reverting to nativescript 6.8.0 from 7.2.0 I did so after reading the following post - apparently xcode 11.x.x is not supported for nativescript 7 https://nativescript.org/blog/nativescript-6-7-xcode-compatibility/...
