I'd also love to see your results, it could be quite handy for me in the next couple of months!
I have strong suspicions of this, too. One prototype device worked ideally in the lab and for the first month or two on site, but became increasingly marginal.
Looking at the waveforms generated, it's way too marginal to do reliably. And it's not true Doppler, either, so I'd suggest there are far better ways to get the same...
