Wezterm 979df78 work for me on Hyprland a425fbebe4cf4238e48a42f724ef2208959d66cf with NixOS Notably the currently released wezterm does not work with that config.

I get the issue on 1.0.150. It looks like models.json got changed (sidenote: how) to have an invalid schema via some out of band process, which is causing the crash.
