This seem to be fine on windows 10 64 bit. Would you fix it for older Windows versions, or 32 bit (don't know what's the cause of the bug)?

json5 on your link is using nodejs, I think it will be slower or at least start slower than C(++) program. Is there a reason why jq does not extend...
