I have updated the code and is awaiting to be committed. This will remove the requirement of needing the users old password.
@Ylianst - Look into Android's accessibility features. Other popular services like Airdroid and Anydesk are using this feature for remote control.
This feature is available if you build the current branch source code. In Android Studio, open the MainActivity.kt You will see instructions towards the top of the code.
This may be an issue if you had no assigned numbers available upon login. This issue resolved for me after I logged out and back into OpenVBX.

Issue can be resolved by wrapping mysql reader in using statements.
