If jdk11 ist mandatory for 7.17.1 their should be an Info in the documentation about that. So please at that to the change/releaselog if it is mandatory.
Are their any new Infos about this? We stopped the puppetdb patches because of this issue. Would be good to know if the only fix is to upgrade to java...
@ekohl would you mind merging this? We need it for https://github.com/theforeman/foreman_monitoring/pull/93 and the corresponding change in the smart-proxy plugin https://github.com/theforeman/smart_proxy_monitoring/pull/33.
New Package with fix should be released tomorrow. It has been added to foreman-packaging for 3.13/3.14 and develop.
We are seeing the same issue, `key_type = ca` will be changed to `key_tyoe = ssh-rsa` ist this correct?
@ekohl thanks for the idea. It sounds better than using the ffi version. I was swamped with the zeitwerk changes in our plugins and forgot about this issue.
Oh ok, i will add the changes and use the default gems. But https://github.com/theforeman/foreman-packaging/pull/11166 and https://github.com/theforeman/foreman-packaging/pull/11165 need to be resolved first because they are needed.
