I agree with Josh --- Mostly what is needed is some frontend operation and a way to communicate this to the backend. Ideally, for the Fock backends it should be...

Does the TF backend have operations for partial trace and postselection on vacuum? If so, conditional states after successful ```MeasureThreshold``` are just the difference of these two...

I think all the pieces are there and there is very minimal coding needed since the Fock backends already know about probabilities in the Fock basis.

It is certainly tempting to just change `rounding`, but I'd prefer a more satisfactory solution. Will try to find sometime this week to think about this issue.

I did some research into this issue. There are at least two other ways to implement Takagi-Autonne. The first outlined in wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symmetric_matrix#Complex_symmetric_matrices relies on jointly diagonalizing two normal matrices...

Not sure. It is still a bug, but as far as I can tell there is no fix to it.

At the time I mean the algorithms that are currently implemented which come from https://journals.aps.org/prresearch/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevResearch.2.023005 . Eventually we should add the newest ones from https://arxiv.org/abs/2010.15595 and https://arxiv.org/abs/2108.01622

One thing that would be a good idea is to make `grouped_click_probabilities` part of the quantum module.

This is explained in https://arxiv.org/pdf/1906.11972.pdf
