I'm also running into issues with MLPS sources either having the wrong language or no language associated with the audio tracks and/or subtitles. It would save a _lot_ of time...
Didn't seem like corruption; I had no problem accessing or deleting files from the card when using a USB card reader, and a pass with h2testw (after a reformat) completed...
