do we have a simple repeating example for this (less large interface for the function)
the aliases are only used once the projection is handled, ie when the where is done, the aliases are (not jet) known. So its not ambiguous.
using the aliases in the group by is possible, you cannot do both, ie use alias and old name. So we require ambiguous names on the group by, ie use...

I agree. I'll look again at the sql specs, if I can disallow this potential confusion, with some specs backing me I'd kill the feature ;-)
hugo doesn't support it out of the box. With many hacks it maybe possible, but seems not that useful.
how did you verify that the procedure isn't there anymore?
please try to verify if this is fixed with the sp4.
we could (re)add the mal MTIMEdaytime_create function for this. I'm not sure about the sql name too use as the datefromparts is realy ms specific.
sure the MTIMEdaytime is only the internal name. The sql function name indeed should be clearer.
