Any news on this, I would love to have that feature...
[FxLauncher](https://github.com/edvin/fxlauncher) is also a nice project which creates native launchers and allows auto updating the app.
That is right the same is true for `runAsyncWithProgress` because it would then replace the parent with a progress indicator and not the node we want to show the progress...
