Did you run the command with sudo ? Are you using a 3.0 or 2.0 port ? Also you can try to replug in the USB port and rerun command...

I disabled CLOCK_OUT in e3e0e7b236a12a2f73a25ec23115235f8f7f65ba. Let me know if it works better.
