Same exact issue on my end.

Update: The (hidden) select is updating correctly when you type your selection, the trigger element just isn't being updated in FF and IE9/10

Any update on this getting properly fixed @mauroreisvieira?

As a temporary fix, use the numerical code (`'`) for the single quote to get your sanity back while writing code.
