I'm still having this with BCU 5.5 - even after reloading the uninstallers: 
I'll give it a try. Any chance BCU's next version will be able to recover from this corrupted state by itself? Or at least detect it and warn about it?...
Scoop is up-to-date and reinstalling BCU did not help. I had it installed via choco and did not yet check for any leftovers after cuninst, though.
So closing this means `wontfix`?
Maybe it should also be mentioned that `regjump` is being used and maybe even that there is an EULA to agree to before first usage.
