based on @RokuIL's comment, it seems to be an issue in the platform specific geolocator packages that geolocator itself depends upon. The issue seems to be in the geolocator_android package....
any update on this? i get no exception or anything, if i try to read the values i have stored in secure storage after restarting the app, nothing shows up....

any update on this? is there no way to execute something on the event of when a notification is received while the app is terminated?
